Day Zero:

Smooth sailing until London Heathrow, where an hour layover made us miss our connection to Glasgow.

Late late late

“Oh would you look at the time”

After managing to get all 8 of us on another flight heading to Glasgow, we dropped our stuff, walked around the airport, then grouped together and played a game of cards!

We met Julie at Glasgow International, then hopped on a bus that took us to our hotel.

We had twenty minutes in our rooms before we headed back out for some FISH AND CHIPSSSSSSSSSS. The Blue Lagoon served up a piping hot, freshly made ‘Fish Supper’ with the fish crisp and the chips dripping with oil. It was every bit as good as I imagined it would be, and three weeks of waiting was SO worth it! We also sampled a bit of Irn-Bru, an orange soda that had an interesting kick to it.

After lunch it started to rain (haha of course Great Britain) so we hid inside a train station, which was massive.

After the rain, we walked down to River Clyde, which was beautiful, but we were warned not to cross the bridge.

The rest of the day was spent chilling. We went out to dinner then I settled in to the best sleep of my life at 9pm, after being awake for close to 40 hours. A great start to the trip and looking forward to whats in store next!
