Scotland Graffiti Skills

On Monday, March 7th, the Boston Ambassadors were scheduled to attend a lecture at 11 am, and follow with a bus tour of the city at 2 pm. The lecture was canceled, so the GCU students took us for a walk in the city. We were able to tour the city by foot and then after by bus. Upon this tour we were able to experience the rich architecture of Glasgow, Scotland. This, however, is a topic of a separate post to follow. The tour bus allowed me to also preview the skilled Graffiti works present, on the blank canvases provided by the sides of buildings, throughout the city. As a lover of Art, I could not help but be astonished by the detailed skill portrayed within these wall paintings. I remember seeing a small graffiti of words on the side of the building during our walk, and mentioning to a GCU student that I found it interesting how the graffiti culture was present in Scotland as well. She had then told me that it was quite common, and there were also many commissioned works of Graffiti present around the city. It was then on the tour bus that I was fortunate enough to experience these works of art in person. Below are some amazing works I was able to capture in photography.

P.S.       I should mention that taking these images in a moving vehicle is a very difficult task.
