Alanis Brydon – Biomedical Science
Alanis is GCU’s very own Usain Bolt. For her its all about reaching the destination, usually the train station. When she’s not dashing about Glasgow, she can often be found in the library studying or spending time with her family, especially her younger sister who she is slightly apprehensive about leaving behind for a week. A bright, bubbly and intelligent person, she is very much looking forward to engage in the full Boston experience.
Allan Buchanan – Cell and Molecular Biology
Hi I’m Allan and I am part of GCU’s away team. I am 18 and I’m currently studying cell and molecular biology. I’ve got lots of interests but the main ones include: Rock Climbing, playing Rugby, Playing Guitar and photography. I have been playing Rugby for around 9 years and have been climbing for about the same. I have taught myself guitar and enjoy playing all sorts of genres from Guns ‘n’ Roses to Ben Howard. I can’t wait to see how Uni life in Boston compares to Uni life in Glasgow and look forward to meeting the Boston home team. I hope you can all understand our accent and don’t have too much trouble with our slang.
