Hi, I’m James! I’m in my thirties and have returned to school after more than a decade away! I’ve worked many odd jobs in the last ten years including work as a greenhouse attendant, a truck driver, an electrician, and an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Air Force. I’ve traveled all over the United States, but my heart will always be in New England (although the Sierra Nevadas in California are a pretty close second place!) Interestingly, the only place I’ve ever been overseas is Scotland (Dunfermline to be specific.)

I’m looking forward to meeting the Scottish ambassadors and also doing what I can to support ours as they adventure across the Atlantic! I’m sure I’ll gain a lot from this experience, and will enjoy working with the rest of the academic support team!
