Hello! Our names are Rachel LoBalbo, Annie Randhawa, and Jen Kwuang and we are your UMB Dean Ambassadors traveling to GCU in Scotland!  In addition to all of the academic and extracurricular activities the university has to offer, we have been fortunate enough to be a member of Dean Andrew Grosovsky’s Pre-Med A Freshman Success Community. The community is all about bringing people from different backgrounds and cultures together to reach our common goals and dreams of becoming future doctors. We enter the classroom every day with the ambition to better ourselves and help further our learning capabilities as students and future medical explorers. In our free time, we would like to spend a lot of time with the Glasgow students and get to learn more about Scotland. We’d also really love to go sight seeing and experience everything that Glasgow has to offer. We will also put time aside during our free time to catch up on any homework and other work from school that needs to be done while away for that week. For recording of the trip, we plan to post to the blog every day discussing the adventures that took place and what happened that day. We also have all types of social media (snapchat, twitter, instagram, Facebook) that people are more than welcome to add us on and we will be posting tons of photos on the daily to show the places that we have ventured off to. We will gain not only an academic experience of getting to sit in the classroom and learning in a totally different way than us as American students do, but it will also be an experience that we get to cherish for the rest of our lives. We hope to gain new friendships there and have unforgettable memories with everyone that will last a lifetime.
