Take A Break- A Podcast Experience

How do you relax when you get home from a long day of school or work?

Do you like to watch a show or movie or maybe scroll through social media?

Scrolling endlessly through Tiktok or Instagram may seem relaxing at the moment. However, studies have shown just how stressful social media really is on the mind. You can find more information on how this works in these articles on Bustle and The Huffington Post.

Therefore I have created this podcast to motivate you to take at least an hour away from any screens or social media and take a break for 1 hour and use that time to really relax your mind.

During this hour, try to pick a new relaxing activity or exercise or activity to accomplish. Here are some ideas to start you off:

  • Go for a walk or jog
  • Take a scenic drive with the windows down
  • Visit a park or museum
  • Sit by the beach doing nothing
  • Brew tea
  • Knit a scarf
  • Your possibilities are endless…

The following podcast includes a lighthearted and fun listening experience, combining a few nerdy and niche people who come together to comment on the bizarre world around us. We’ll include segments on theater, anime, plants, and more that can appeal to audiences from any and every corner. You don’t have to be an expert in any of these subjects as long as you enjoy the sound of our rambles.
