Hi everyone!
My name is Dan Repeta, and I am a second-year History Major/English Minor at UMass Boston. I am interested in interacting with media through photo and video editing, and I want to learn more about sound design and how I might be able to use these skills to create new ways of conveying an idea instead of just writing.
In this past semester, I did exactly that—I learned new skills and created multimodal projects that were inspired by the city of Boston and it’s somewhat lacking transportation systems. These projects helped me better understand different ways a topic can be presented to an audience, and how each of these modes affects the message behind the project.
