This is Our student-driven site exploring the world of Community Psychology
Community Psychology looks to promote positive changes, increase health and empowerment at individual and systemic levels through the integration of cultural, social economic, political, environmental, international, and historical influences on an individual and their network. On this site we will provide some information for some common terminology, people, and programs of note in Community Psychology. We will also look at some historical events and modern-day ramifications, changes, and progress they may have played a role in.
This ongoing project was started in the Spring 2024 semester of the University of Massachusetts-Boston’s Community Psychology Course with David Gorman, Psy.D.
