I created data boxes to keep count of boats, fishes, good poop (algae) and bad poop (algae). Here are codes:Â 
Is this the best way to keep count of the agents for the data box?
Also, my fishes get way too close to the boats, but only when there is a boat overload (picture below). I’ve also included the code, do you see anything I am doing wrong?

the top 2 codes are AOK – they do what you say you want them to
in the middle picture, I think you have too many boats for such a small space – maybe have fewer or have them move over a bigger area
your fishies and boats code looks OK – you could set the radius they look to something larger than 35 but then the boats wouldn’t catch any fish. Maybe use a larger radius but make it only a 1/4 chance of facing towards the grass.
you need to reduce the fish energy of the “mom fish” when she gives birth
just below the brown “create do”, you need to add a “set my fish energy to may fish energy – (something reasonable)” or you’ll get a fish explosion.
