Known Issues with Xythos

 

Windows Vista error when opening links to Xythos documents.
 

There is a known issue when a link to a Xythos document is clicked on from a computer using Windows Vista and with Xythos Drive installed. Xythos support informed us that a fix which will be available in the next service pack release sometime in March or April 2009. There is a workaround available. Adding the address of our Xythos server into the list of trusted sites will resolve the problem. Open Internet Explorer – select the Tools menu – select Internet Options – select the Security tab – select the Trusted Sites icon – select the Sites button – type https://xythos.umb.edu into the top box – select the Add button – select Close – select OK.
