CM Has a New Career Services Specialist!

The Office of Career Services and Internships is pleased to share with you that Deborah Federico has joined our team as the new Career Services and Employment Relations Specialist for the College of Management. Deborah has over 10 years of higher education experience in career services and employer relations. She comes to UMass Boston from the Career Services Office at Framingham State University.  Prior to Framingham State University,  she worked in the Undergraduate Career Services Office at Boston University’s School of Management. While  In her five years at BU she provided career services to 2,000+ students developing internship/job search plans including career exploration, resume/cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, and LinkedIn/social media. She continuously develops new strategies and programming to enhance career services and student success. Prior to transitioning to higher education, Deborah held several market research positions.

Deborah is a UMass Boston alum having earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Business Administration – here on campus. She received her Master of Business Administration from Boston College and completed the Career Development Facilitator program through the National Career Development Association. Please join us in welcoming Deborah to UMass Boston!

College of Management undergraduate and graduate students looking to set up an individual career appointment with Deborah, can call 617.287.5519 or send an e-mail to careers@umb.edu to make an appointment. Deborah’s office will be located in the College of Management on the 5th floor of McCormick on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Tuesdays and Fridays Deborah will be located in the Office of Career Services and Internship in the Campus Center – 1-1300.
