Hey, Transfer Students, There’s Still Time to Apply!

June28

All of us in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (including myself, of course) have been busy processing applications and making sure your Transfer Credit Evaluations are up to par prior to being sent out to you.

For those of you that may still be thinking of applying to UMass Boston for the fall 2012 semester, don’t hesitate–there is still time! The deadline for transfer applications and materials is July 1, however we will continue to process your application materials for 14 days afterwards.

Get us all of your materials now so we can review your application as soon as possible, since some programs may fill up.

If you’re admitted, you’ll want to sign up for orientation right away, as  course selection is best early on in the summer. So what are you waiting for?

Please be sure to review the transfer application requirements to ensure your application process goes smoothly.

If you have any questions about how to apply to UMass Boston, please give us a call at 617.287.6000.

If you would rather connect with us online, you have an opportunity to chat with a counselor TODAY, June 28, any time from 10 am to 4 pm! Sign up here.

Good luck!

photo 2Transfer Articulation Officer. What does that mean? It means that if it has something to do with transfer admissions at UMass Boston, I have my hand in it; from recruitment to Transfer Credit Evaluations to transfer credit petitions and much more! So, there’s some information about what I do, here’s a little bit more about who I am:

  • I received my Bachelor of Arts in Classics from UMass Amherst in 2004
  • I recently received my Masters of Education in April 2011 from Northeastern University
  • I am a strong advocate for education, specifically public education which is why I love working at UMass Boston.

My favorite part of my job is working with and helping students. I am excited for this opportunity to reach out to more of you. Stay tuned!
