There have been more than 80 articles about the upcoming PBS/BBC/Nova special: Vikings Unearthed. A two-hour program premiering online Monday, April 4 at 3:30 pm EDT. The show will air Wednesday, April 6 on PBS. Doug Bolender, a research assistant professor in the Anthropology Department and the Fiske Center for Archaeological Research, is featured in this New York Times story about a possible Viking settlement in North America.
