My task was to get the scoop on the motivation of a Lampas Society member to name the university the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. All right, from the outset this didn’t seem like a scintillating assignment. But retired professor Elaine Werby is no ordinary person. Well into her 80s, she arrives at her Center for Social Policy campus perch three days a week to better the lives of Bostonians.
