Friday: Snow through the morning…heaviest during the commute. The snow quickly shuts off around lunchtime and clouds might even break apart by the evening commute. Most areas will pick up around 4-6″, but higher amounts of 6-9″ are possible southwest of Boston with ocean enhancement. Highs in the upper 20s, so this is a light fluffy snow. Expect a heavier, more compacted snow on the outer Cape and Islands, which is why we’ll see around 4″ there too.
