IMSD’s Annual Sciences Grad School Fair

Undergraduates in STEM majors are encouraged to meet & greet with faculty and administrators from campuses and programs in the Northeast region.

Each table will have information for summer research, post-baccalaureate and graduate programs in the sciences.

IMSD is a student development program for institutions with research-intensive environments. The goal of the program is to increase the number of students from underrepresented groups in biomedical research who complete Ph.D. degrees in these fields. The program offers an opportunity to develop new or expand existing effective academic developmental programs, including student research internships, in order to prepare students from underrepresented groups for competitive research careers and leadership positions in the biomedical sciences.

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences is a part of the National Institutes of Health that supports research to increase understanding of life processes and lay the foundation for advances in disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
