2. Use Wiser to actually register for classes for the current/upcoming semester, -OR- use the registration request form should you encounter an error when registering through Wiser.
3. Use the Master Course List to determine what Functional area and Specialization area a class will fulfill, to meet the requirements as listed in the MBA Course Curriculum Planner.
Course Wizard
•From the Course Wizard on the Registrar’s Website, select the semester that you are looking for.
•Under “Graduate Subjects” in the right hand column, find the department you are looking for
•(MBA AF / MBAACM / MBAMGT / MSIS / MBAMS) – these will be about half way down the page). Graduate MSIS classes are designated at the 600 level.
•Once you click on a department area, a list will be generated with all of the courses in that department that are being offered only for the semester you have chosen. If a course is not listed, it is not being offered for the semester you have selected. It will likely be offered during a different semester. For example: Clicking on MBA Management from the Fall 2012 semester will pull up the complete list of all classes being offered in the MBA Management department for the Fall 2012 semester only.
•When you click on a specific class it will display some important information for you. When registering through Wiser, you will use the Course Subject and Course Number. For example: with the course MBA AF 610 Accounting for Managers, (MBA AF) is the Course Subject and (610) is the Course Number.
•Also take note of the Section Number, and Class Number. These are unique to each course section, and you will use these when registering through Wiser and when completing a registration request form.
•If you hover the mouse over the “More Info” link, you will be shown the Class dates, Enrollment capacity, and Enrollment Total as well as if the class is ‘Open’ or ‘Closed’, and will also list Pre-Requisites are for the class.
