ACS GCI seeking Full-Time paid intern to develop case studies
The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute (ACS GCI) is seeking a Full-Time (up to 37.5 hours/week) intern enrolled in an MBA or equivalent graduate program This is a paid position at an hourly rate of $13-$19 per hour, determined by the experience of the candidate. The intern will work in the ACS GCI office located in downtown Washington, DC (1155 Sixteenth St, NW). The exact dates of the internship are negotiable.
Responsibilities:
Interact with Green Chemistry award winners to develop 2 business case studies. Develop integrated marketing resources that support and communicate the disruptive technology and business impact from implementation. Activities include conducting interviews, analysis of data such as projected sales, jobs created etc. Deliverables will be original presentation products (charts, analyses, reports).
Research new opportunities, risks, and pathways to develop potential partnerships across multiple verticals, develop portfolio scorecard and toolkit to gauge success of fundraising strategy.
Assist with the 16th Annual Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference (June 18-20 in Washington, DC), with planning and preparation before the conference, registration and other duties as assigned during the conference, and wrap-up afterwards.
Use marketing analytics, to make recommendations that increase GC&E site traffic.
Develop framework and tasks to build an ACS GCI blog.
