Info session tomorrow : MBA AF 636 Quantitative Data Analysis
Writing a serious thesis needs tools – a good set of analytical tools. If you plan to write on Accounting &Finance issues you NEED Prof. Zaur Rzakhanov’s MBA AF 636 Quantitative Data Analysis. He provides you with the foundation of regression analysis – the cornerstone to any rigorous data work.

Outline
The information session will discuss the format and topics to be covered in the graduate Quantitative Analysis course. The students taking the course will differentiate themselves in the job market by learning both the techniques of quantitative data analysis and a statistical data analysis language.
The goal of the new course is to familiarize students with the analytical foundations of quantitative analysis of business data. Particular emphasis will be placed on hands-on experience with data analysis and the economic interpretation of empirical findings. The course will focus on learning a number of quantitative techniques employed in finance, economics and management. The concepts and techniques will be applied to the analysis of real data using a statistical/data analysis package.
The course will offer College of Management students an opportunity to apply conceptual knowledge to empirical data analysis and establish a solid foothold in quantitative analysis. Additionally, the course will provide students with the conceptual foundation for the development of an empirical research project or a Master’s thesis.
