SGBM is specifically expanding its Corporate Fixed Income business in the US and establishing 2 centers in key geographical locations (Boston and New York). This role will work in partnership with the Senior Sales of a specific geographical area (Boston and New England) and with the relevant regional relationship managers to drive and support the distribution of derivative products. The position will be based in Boston and report to the head of Fixed Income Sales. Develop and sustain relationships with key client and business contacts. Advise clients on investment and hedging strategies and transactions opportunities. Drive sales within portfolio to achieve revenue targets. Develop and sustain relationships with key client and business contacts. Manage client relationships to ensure delivery of all aspects of potential treasury related solutions to the client’s satisfaction. Maintain detailed account plans and bring back intelligence regarding the customers areas of interest, where they trade with competitors and any key opportunities Identify potential new customers and opportunities for new products.Ensure all transactions undertaken with clients meet with the Bank’s compliance, audit and risk policies.
|Bachelor degree or similar experience, 3 Years Derivatives Experience, NASD Series 3, 7, 63 preferred, but not necessary . Ability to utilize software (PowerPoint, Excel, etc) to support team’s sales efforts. Focused sales person with a very good overall understanding of derivative hedging products and structured products .Ability to build relationships with Corporate Banking relationship managers .Ability to convert product ideas into sales, evidenced by involvement in proposition development . Ability to manage complex multi-disciplinary sales by selling and cross selling multiple products into multiple sectors .Establishes good relationships with colleagues and works with others to deliver. Seeks to support others in solving problems and achieving goals and shares experiences with colleagues where appropriate. Excellent formal presentation skills as well as excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
