Gnuplot Rocks

This post is dedicated to the proposition that gnuplot rocks as a substitute for Mathematica, especially when dealing with straightforward to graph curves in 3-D.

If plotting curves displaying their contour lines (and using a little pseudo-code to do it) betters your understanding of Math, then gnuplot is right for you.
