Here are a few more reasons to get your application and supporting materials to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions early:

Take Advantage of Rolling Admission

Aside from a few special programs, we make decisions on applications as we receive them so you control the pace. The earlier you apply to UMass Boston, the earlier we can review your required application materials and send you out a decision letter.

Avoid Stress

I am sure family members, counselors, teachers, and friends are all discussing upcoming application deadlines and encouraging you to take the next step. Quell the stress by starting the application process now.

Pay Attention to Special Program Deadlines

Some programs, such as Engineering and Nursing, have early deadlines and others have capacity limits. Don’t miss your chance to be considered for your top major, but submitting your application and documents letter in the cycle.

Don’t Miss the Financial Aid Priority Deadline

After January 1, you can begin applying for financial aid and you want to make sure that process has been completed by our priority deadline of March 1. You do not want to be managing both the admissions application process and the financial aid process at the same time.
