The Massachusetts Studies Network is an initiative of the Joseph P. Healey Library at the University of Massachusetts Boston and of Mass. Humanities, the state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, supporting programs that use history, literature, philosophy, and the other humanities disciplines to enhance and improve civic life throughout Massachusetts.

The development of this pilot network was supported by a Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

This project has been designated a “We the People” project by the National Endowment for the Humanities. We the People is an NEH program designed to encourage and enhance the teaching, study, and understanding of American history, culture, and democratic principles.
